BUYING GUIDE
Find the growth friction before you buy more traffic
More attention does not repair a journey that loses confidence. Use this practical diagnostic to find where growth is really getting stuck.
Traffic is often the loudest symptom
When growth slows, the instinct is to increase reach. More campaigns, more content, more channels. But attention only multiplies the quality of the journey it enters — if the message is unclear or the choice feels risky, more traffic simply creates more expensive abandonment.
Look for the point where momentum breaks
Start with the customer sequence rather than a channel report. What did the person expect before arriving? What do they see first? Which question must they answer before moving forward?
If people do not recognise that the offer is for them, the problem is relevance.
If they understand the offer but hesitate, the problem is usually trust or risk.
If they are convinced but do not act, the path may be asking for too much effort.
Do not ask which tactic is missing. Ask which customer decision is currently harder than it should be.
Use evidence in the right order
Quantitative data shows where behaviour changes. Session recordings and support conversations help explain why. Customer interviews reveal the language people use. The strongest decision is usually found where these signals overlap.
Signal | What it tells you |
|---|---|
Drop-off rate | Where momentum breaks |
Session recordings | Why it breaks there |
Interviews | The words to fix it with |
Make one meaningful change
A focused improvement is easier to measure than a redesign launched without a hypothesis. Rewrite the first screen, clarify a comparison, move proof beside the decision, or shorten the enquiry path — then watch whether behaviour at that point changes. See what we do.
